I want to inform you of the spiritual transactions that have been going on on-behalf of Itu local government area of Akwa Ibom State, the local government where I am from. The result as we can see and still going to see more is the tangible, positive socio-economic development currently experienced in Itu. Brothers and Sisters these manifestations are real and they didn’t just happened because Itu is special or because someone is doing what he or she is supposed to do. It is simply because of the spiritual negotiation that has gone up and is still going on on-behalf of Itu and Akwa Ibom State.
But because we wouldn’t want you to miss out, just as God wouldn’t want you either, we are calling on all our brothers and sisters from the entire thirty one (31) LGA of the state to join us in earnest in this year 2018 and let us intercede and bring repentance and cleansing for our land, and expects God’s blessing which HE had already released through the return of the SYMBOL OF BLESSING OF AKWA IBOM STATE, which was taken to Scotland when our ancestors and fore fathers persecuted the early missionaries, turn against the gospel of salvation- to the worship of the devil through human sacrifices, maltreatment of twins and their mothers, slave trade and the establishment of demonic altars that are inimical to the development of our communities and state. And as Paul, the Apostle stated, “I wouldn’t want you to be ignorant of this matter”, as it isn’t an isolated issue, but a generic one, as far as Akwa Ibom state, the African race and the entire world is concerned. Our fore-bears used to, in their ignorance, practiced the ways of the devil, all in the quest for protection, long life, wealth and whatever it was that they used to desire. And as a result, we were brought under the bondage of slavery, and destruction as we used to witnessed before, (Because the devil has no free and good gift) It is the concern of how negatively we used to turn out in every facet of our lives that drove me into the closet to start asking relevant questions about and pray for my land and people in 1993. This burden led to the establishment of a team of intercessors, whose, some of their several assignments includes the first ever solemn assembly in the history of the state in Itu LG council in 1993, then to other communities in state to pray, carry out several researches so as to understand the spiritual mapping of the state and the powers that possessed our communities. In 2003, God revealed to us through a revelation that the SYMBOL OF BLESSING OF AKWA IBOM STATE was taken back to Scotland as a result of the reasons stated earlier. Though there was a caveat that, “if we pray, bring about repentance and cleansing to our land, THE SYMBOL would be returned, and when it is returned, there would be no land that would be as blessed as Akwa Ibom state”
My brothers and sisters from Akwa Ibom, Nigeria and the world, we didn’t know how to go about and ensure the SYMBOL is returned as shown me in the revelation I had. Prayers, fasting and intercessions was sent up repeatedly and continuously, and the Lord in his infinite mercy and love for the people of Akwa Ibom state caused a miracle to happen in 2015, by bringing about the occasion of the centenary celebration of Ma Mary Mitchel Slessor, the Scottish missionary that was sent to our shore by the Presbyterian Church of Scotland, and there, just as I saw in the revelation, the SYMBOL was returned by the Moderator, Presbyterian Church of Scotland, Rt. Rev. John Chalmers, who led the delegation of Scotland to our country. And to God be the glory, His Excellency our Governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel, who does not leave to chance any issue that borders on the development and the complete emancipation of Akwa Ibom state, bought into God’s mercy, miracle and love for our great state, and so also, the wife of the Governor, our own mother, Her Excellency, Martha Udom Emmanuel prophetically, like the biblical Esther, hosted a banquet in the government house, were twins, their mothers, slave trade’s victims and the entire traditional institutions were reconciled, and in repentance from what we did to the early missionaries, two prominent streets in Akwa ibom states were renamed after Mary Slessor and Samuel Bill respectively by the Governor. What a glorious accomplishment to the glory of God that demands a memorial thanksgiving.
Brothers and sisters, that isn’t the end of the matter, we all in our individual communities and local government have to continue praying, discarding and destroying those demonic altars that were erected by our ancestors, and redeem our lands for God, so that the blessings that’s coming can find, without hindrance a resting place.
We are open to invitations from communities or families who have identified a deity that is troubling them and want to banish it by breaking the covenant and turning unto the God of heaven and the earth.
